I have never paid much attention to New Year\u2019s Resolutions as I\u2019ve never really believed in them. I knew that I would probably never keep them or that I would only make those that were fun and easy to pull off  Further, I don\u2019t believe most people keep them either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, if I were to make some resolutions this year, this is what they might be.  I would promise to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pray for the Trump Republicans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be nicer to everyone, including those I consider fools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try training my dogs for a change to stop people from complaining that I don\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try not to finish Betty\u2019s sentences for her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make an effort to understand what the Libertarians really mean by \u201cfreedom\u201d and \u201crights.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try to like cats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learn to eat awful stuff like Brussels sprout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Convince American politicians to quit saying that the USA is the richest, most powerful and best country in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learn to make my own cherry and strawberry-rhubarb pies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Give compliments even when I don\u2019t believe them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
