In short, it is a humble celebration of America without the bravado of flag-waving and jingoism. At its best it is all about giving thanks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year with the pandemic, Thanksgiving will be different, but with luck we will still enjoy the traditional fare and show gratitude for what we have, however modest given the circumstances. Whether alone or with immediate family, we will endure and look forward to the promise of a bright future.&nbsp; Americans will survive this awful pandemic and somehow put our country back together again for the common good.
