I\u2019m still here watching and waiting to see what\u2019s really going to happen with the second coming of Trump. It\u2019s difficult to tell given the hoopla, false starts and rhetorical fabrications. Despite the pain and uncertainties inflicted on Americans and allies overseas, chaos continues to reign with no promise of positive government forthcoming.<\/p>\n
At this point, I must ask if my friends and acquaintances who wear their love for Trump like swastikas are really happy with the outcome of their politicking for Trump. Is the current chaos what they wanted? Is the pleasure they got from defeating the Democrats worth a malfunctioning government that is the very antithesis of conservatism? Ask yourself: if this is Sunday, are the tariffs on or off, are there real plans to attack inflation and bring down the cost of living, confront Russian aggression to end the war in Ukraine? Are we going to continue bashing and insulting Canada and Mexico, our closest friends and largest trading partners?<\/p>\n
The recent stopping of arms and support to Ukraine, including the sharing of intelligence and satellite technology, seems to be the craven action of an evil man without regard for human life or simple decency. Much like his self-serving inaction during the Covid crisis during his first administration, he is flagrantly dismissive of the suffering and death that his partisan politicking and genuflecting to Putin will bring to the Ukrainian people.<\/p>\n
What kind of Americans would continue to support the MAGA movement and its maniacal president? Those who have drunk the Kool Aid, that\u2019s who; those who wear the T-shirts, the red caps, buy the Trump Bibles and flaunt the Trump wrist watches.<\/p>\n
