Sometimes it is difficult to do the right thing. I imagine this was the case for Geoff Duncan, the former Republican Lt-Governor of Georgia, when Trump and his allies tried to overturn the 2020 presidential election. The same might be said about Brad Raffensperger, Republican Secretary of State in Georgia, when he refused to change the state\u2019s election returns..<\/p>\n

Duncan, who has been outspoken in his condemnation of Trump, is an outstanding example of the dedicated public office holder who unflinchingly upholds the Constitution and the rule of law.<\/p>\n

This was dramatically evident by his recent statement in endorsing Joe Biden for president.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m voting for a decent person I disagree with on policy over a criminal defendant without a moral compass.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Duncan succinctly states what we all should do in the upcoming election for the good of the nation whether we are a Democrat, Independent or Republican.<\/p>\n

For those of us in Georgia, I appeal to you to join Geoff Duncan in doing the right thing rather than listen to Marjorie Taylor Greene.<\/p>\n
