Don’t take my word for it, just keep your ears open and you will know that Marjorie Taylor Greene, the buffoon from Georgia, has struck again. Frontpage news this week is that Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House, plans to address aid for Ukraine, an action that has become a cause celebre for the Republican Right which has held up sending arms to the beleaguered Ukrainians for over six months, this in spite of American pledges notwithstanding.<\/p>\n
Ms. Greene has filed a motion to vacate Johnson as Speaker if he brings aid for Ukraine to a vote. Support for the aid package has already passed the Senate and has broad support in the House as well if brought to a vote.<\/p>\n
So there it is: the Speaker, the second most powerful officer in the United States government, is held hostage for his job while we all stand by as witnesses to the dysfunction. All because of one malcontent representative hell-bent on creating havoc..<\/p>\n
Here is a poem that aptly puts the esteemed representative’s credentials in context:<\/p>\n

"She\u2019s earned great renown as a ludicrous clown
\nwhose birdbrained pronouncements and other announcements
\nhave made her the talk of the town.<\/p>\n
Says she:<\/p>\n
By six billion our border\u2019s been breached and my hair has been bleached
\nby a laser-wielding Jew —- it\u2019s from outer space, too.
\nThere\u2019s nowhere the conspiracy hasn\u2019t reached.<\/p>\n
The Democrats have plans to turn us all trans.
\nThey\u2019re like gazpacho (though she means \u201cGestapo\u201d),
\nas she claims to her Fox News fans.<\/p>\n
The Dems are pedophiles too and not just a few.
\nDue process they annihilate and fragrantly violate.
\n(Could Pelosi be secretly a Jew?)<\/p>\n
Evil Bill Gates wants control of our fates.
\nHe ardently wishes for meat made in Peachtree dishes
\nwhich he will force onto all of our plates.<\/p>\n
There are many more gaffes that would bring further laughs
\nbut I think I\u2019ll stop here or I\u2019d be quacking in fear
\nthat this poem would take many more paragraphs."<\/p>\n
